Craftsmanship

Hand dipped candle-making is a slow, hot process that requires a central wick to be repeatedly submerged into molten beeswax. The width of the candle increases as new layers of wax cure over the previous.

In the case of the Twin Flame, two hand dipped tapers are then carefully wound together to create one candle.

Benefits of Beeswax

Beeswax is an antimicrobial material that burns at a slower rate because of its inherent density.

Beeswax candles purify the air by absorbing or neutralizing airborne allergens.

Sustainability

Alysia only uses sustainably sourced, fresh, local beeswax from keepers in upstate New York.

She also spearheads a beeswax recycling program, which has collected over 280lbs since 2020.
