From Merchant & Mills, the Ellsworth pattern is for an oversized, boxy shirt with a dropped back hem and half placket. Swingy and absurdly comfortable.

• Skill level: Intermediate. 
• Fabric suggestions: 3-6oz linen, cotton poplin, cotton lawn, cotton double gauze, Indian handlooms, cotton chambray, Tencel, hemp/cotton blends. Do not choose anything too heavy, as the back is lower than the front it will pull down making it uncomfortable at the neck!

• All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.
• Patterns are printed within Europe; the pattern paper is 70gsm white (FSC® certified) and made only 180km away from the printers.
• Instructions are in booklet format rather than A3 sheets. The paper is PEFC/01-31-126certified.
