From Merchant & Mills, the 101 Trouser is a beginner-level pattern for a gentle drawstring trouser with side pockets and a false fly. Cut to sit on the waist, pattern features 3 possible versions: a cropped & tapered trouser, wide straight trouser, or shorts.

• Fabric suggestions: linen, linen blends, tencel, tencel/linen, 3-5oz denim, cotton chambray, indian handweaves, very fine wool or corduroy.
• All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.
• Patterns are printed within Europe: the pattern paper is 70gsm white (FSC® certified) and is made only 180km away from the printers.
• Instructions come in booklet format rather than A3 sheets.
• The paper is PEFC/01-31-126certified.
