From Merchant & Mills is a pattern for a neat cross body bag that's small but copious. Factotum has been designed to hold all your daily essentials; fully lined, with two front pockets and a zipped closure. You can use leather or webbing for your strap. 

• Skill level: intermediate.
• Fabric suggestions: oilskin, dry oilskin, mid-heavy weight cotton canvas or drill, mid weight denim (8-14oz). For the lining we would suggest using either our 5oz organic dry oilskin, half panama cotton, or barrier lining. You can see all of these by clicking on the suitable fabrics tab.
• Finished measurements: 7.9" (20cm) long, by 11.8" (30cm) wide, by 4.75" (12cm) deep at the widest point. 
• Patterns are printed within Europe; the pattern paper is 70gsm white (FSC® certified) and made only 180km away from the printers.
• Instructions come in booklet. The paper is PEFC/01-31-126certified.
• All seam allowances are 1cm unless otherwise stated.
